Description:
The Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in Applied Microeconomics, with a focus on the economics of crime, environmental economics or public economics.

Duties:
The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate and Ph.D levels courses in the field of Applied Microeconomics with a focus on the economics of crime and environmental economics or public economics. Advise students, do research in area of expertise, active participation in the intelectual life of the department, provide service to the university.

Qualifications:
Candidates should have a Ph.D in hand or firmly expected by August 2022 and should show promise of significant scholarship and ability to teach at both the undergraduate and Ph.D levels.
