As a Sustainability Director , you will have the opportunity to lead the development of long-term Sustainability Strategy.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Support OU Senior Director, Sustainability (PACS) in designing the strategy and bringing the strategy to life.

  • Lead the implementation of OU sustainability strategy and ensure consistency in key pillars across all franchises.

  • Execute and integrate Agile practices across Sustainability projects, spearheading the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile methodologies within the PACS teams.

  • Support Franchise teams in Sustainability Initiatives in alignment with our LRP (Long Range Plan) and ABP (Annual Business Plan).

  • Lead negotiations with bottlers’ teams in sustainability plans alignment and investment, support Franchises ensuring System Sustainability Plans are implemented as agreed.

  • Work in strong collaboration with technical team to ensure a flawless plans implementation that will lead us towards our Long-Term goals.

  • Work in collaboration with technical team to comply with the Global & OU reporting processes.

  • Own the reporting process in PACS Sustainability to the OU & Global teams.

  • Lead the Sustainability-related policy and advocacy in Collaboration with the OU & local Public Policy teams, with focus on driving favorable legislation framework on Circular Economy and Packaging waste management, Climate resilience, Water stewardship, Women and Youth Economic inclusion.

  • Lead the process with The Coca-Cola Foundation on the OU funding and grants approval, implementation and monitoring, as per the TCCF strategic impact area and OU social impact strategy.

  • Support PACS and Commercial OU & franchise teams in implementing Sustainability- related programs and activations with customers.

  • Work in collaboration with External Communications teams to provide positive content, used to amplify and help promote Corporate Reputation.

  • Lead and Identify Sustainability Capability Building Opportunities Across OU including bottling partners ecosystem.

  • Define and monitor OKRs and KPI´s across the OU, related to key sustainability priorities and WTMM (Work that Matters Most).

  • Identify external trends and innovation in Sustainability, applicable to the OU and engage with stakeholders within Sustainability ecosystem across the OUs, creating a strong network with critical allies

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of total working experience in different PACS areas. Proved knowledge and minimum experience of 5 years working with Sustainability-related agenda. Experience in leading multi-country projects and working with multi-functional teams.

  • Stakeholders’ engagement and ability to build long term partnerships with NGOs, Civil Society, start-ups, and other Industries.

  • Strategic and pragmatic vision with ability to translate complex challenges into actionable strategies and plans; strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to lead the agenda of multi-functional teams and permeate across different areas of the company and the Coca-Cola System (Bottlers).

  • Set the agenda with autonomy, Influence, and ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Networked mindset and ability to move easily throughout different sectors of society, building solid partnerships with key stakeholders (start-ups, multilateral organizations, associations, opinion leaders, NGOs, etc.).

  • People development: genuine passion for creating an environment that allows people to develop their potential, creating a high-performance team.

  • Company Spokesperson à Represent the Company in external forums, workshops and events related to Sustainability agenda at local and OU level.

Mastery Of:

  • Strong knowledge of sustainability management tools (studies / impact matrix / sustainability report)

  • Solid business knowledge to use sustainability agenda to create value to the business

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communications skills

  • Strong ability to work agilely in different teams, both inside & outside of the system

Broad Expertise In:

  • Grassroots / community engagement

  • Economic development, environmental policy, water risk, climate resilience, human rights, diversity & inclusion

  • Experience in building partnerships with public, private & civil society organizations

  • Government affairs experience

  • Experience in lectures and participation in external debates
