SUMMARY OF JOB

Echo Technologist is responsible for the completion of Pediatric Echocardiograms in a timely on call manner; knowledge of and ability to perform Pediatric Echocardiograms; accurately acquiring and storing studies in the Cardiology reading system and transferring studies to CHOP.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate.

Certification of completion from an AMA approved cardiology training program and documented experience. performing non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures. Associates Degree preferred; but not a requirement.

Documented training in Echocardiography and at least one year experience performing Echocardiogram studies.

Current CPR certification.

Ability to work on-call hours is required.
