Kuehne + Nagel Turkey seeks an ambitious, self-disciplined, and focused Contract Logistics National Business Development Manager for its Contract Logistics department.

Your Role

You will lead sales and business development activities of Kühne Nagel Turkey Contract Logistics’ consumer and pharma operations. (Warehousing, domestic distribution, VAS operations) and leading customer tenders, involving required teams, distribution teams, solution engineering, and warehousing operations teams. You will also be preparing sector reports and informing the Contract Logistics Director and Regional Management, to define Contract Logistics Business Development strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Creating customer presentations and proposals for the new RFQs;

  • Searching for opportunities in the local market and leading and managing customer tenders;

  • Keeping CRM up to date for new leads, opportunities, and ongoing tenders also results;

  • Utilizing shared leads from other departments;

  • Collaboration with solution engineering, operations, financial control, and country management;

  • Financial analysis and finalization of structures made by the solution engineering team;

  • Searching cross-sales opportunities with connected customers;

  • Sharing sales leads with other sales teams (KAM, Air, Sea, Read Logistics business units);

  • Preparing sector and competitor analysis, to define Contract Logistics Business Development Strategy.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree;

  • Proven knowledge of contract logistics;

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales in distribution and warehousing;

  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience;

  • Advanced MS Office and supplementary software suites knowledge and CRM experience;

  • Very good spoken and written English and Turkish is a must.
