Position Summary:
The History Department at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College has openings for part-time (adjunct) History Curriculum faculty, for the Spring semester 2022. Courses may include, but are not limited to: American History I & 2, World Civilizations 1 & 2. Day and afternoon classes are available at both North and South Campus campus locations.
Staff Required Education/Experience:Faculty Required Education/Experience Skills:
Master’s Degree in History or a related field with 18 graduate hours in History.
Desired Education/Experience/Skills:
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Updated computer skills and active learning skill set required.

Work Hours:
This varies. Please be advised this is a part time position only with the adjunct faculty member teaching during the day time hours, two or three days a week according to class schedules, Monday through Friday.

6. Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records/requests, and other assigned tasks.
