O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) invites applications for faculty positions in the Jindal School of Journalism and Communication (JSJC).

Programmes Offered:

JSJC is looking to appoint faculty members to conduct teaching and research in the following areas:

  • Multi media and Storytelling
  • Direction
  • Cinematography
  • Screenwriting
  • Editing
  • Audiography
  • Sound Editing
  • Animation
  • Music Production
  • New Media /Gaming/Audio Visual Experimental Arts

Positions:

We are hiring at all levels, including Professors/ Associate Professors and Assistant Professor.

Role and Responsibilities:

The faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate/ graduate courses, conduct research, mentor students and engage in school and university level activities. The faculty will also oversee internship programmes, as well as other activities seeking to improve the scholarship and leadership skills of the students.

The faculty will be expected to engage in scholarly research program in their field of expertise that could involve undergraduate students. We are especially interested in candidates who have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can work effectively with an increasingly diverse group of students and colleagues.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Doctorate/ Master’s/ Post Graduate Degree in above mentioned areas.
  • Undergraduate-level teaching experience in areas related to Journalism and Communication.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Desire to serve a culturally diverse student body.
