The Republican People’s Party (CHP) Wice Chairperson Veli Ağbaba said that their candidate for president was Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
“The Table of Six will determine the candidate of the Table of Six; but if you ask us, the candidate of CHP is Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu,” he said.
Ağbaba told the reporters that the Table of Six is going to announce its candidate for president after holding two meetings in the coming weeks.
“We repeat. The candidate to be announced by the Table of Six will be our candidate. Our candidate is Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. It is up to the Table of Six to decide.”
“The candidate to be announced will be the candidate of the Nation Alliance. We identify how the candidate should be. It should be someone who can talk to everyone, who does not have any dirty things, any dark points in the past, and who has an experience with bureaucracy in the state. We hope that the candidate will be Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.”
Ağbaba replied to another question on election safety and said, “First of all we are ready in every respect in relation to election safety. We are all, and first of all our president is working very seriously on this.” (RT/PE)
