According to the news, the individuals responsible for the murder of Palestinians in Istanbul last night have already left Turkey. This situation bears resemblance to the 2018 assassination of Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi. In that particular situation, the culprits were also able to depart the country without any difficulties.

Three individuals were the targets of an auto attack in Istanbul’s Kağıthane district by masked gunmen. The suspects identified by the authorities were able to flee Turkey shortly after the attack.

An Israeli passport-holding real estate businessman and his bodyguard were injured. while another individual sitting in the driver’s seat was pronounced dead at the scene.

The attackers fled the scene promptly following the shooting, as reported by Müslim Sarıyar of Halk TV. The incident was promptly addressed by medical and law enforcement personnel. The injured were transported to the hospital, and law enforcement secured the area and initiated an investigation. A silenced firearm and numerous cartridge casings were discovered by crime scene investigators.

Anas Abdel Qadir, an Israeli citizen who was in the driver’s seat at the time of the assault, was identified as the deceased individual. The businessman, Fadi M., evaded the vehicle by leaping out the window and seeking refuge in a nearby restaurant. His condition is critical.

The Istanbul Police verified that the suspects and the victims were both Israeli citizens. The perpetrators were identified as G.S, T.S, and F.A. in the security camera footage.

The three suspects fled the country by vehicle shortly after the assassination, according to authorities.

Jamal Khashoggi, a columnist for The Washington Post who had written exhaustively critical of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was murdered inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018. This incident is similar to the recent one cited. The murderers of Khashoggi, like the suspects in the most recent case, were also able to depart Turkey without incident.
