The results of a survey conducted by Area Research in 26 provinces and 87 districts with a total of 2,024 participants have been released. The survey shows a decline in the Republican People’s Party (CHP) vote share compared to last month’s results, while the Justice and Development Party (AKP) vote share has increased to 30%, reclaiming the top position. In Area’s November survey, the CHP led with 30 points, while the AKP stood at 29.5%.
The survey, conducted after the minimum wage was announced as 22,104 Turkish Lira on December 24, utilized the CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) method across 26 provinces and 87 districts. Participants were asked the following questions: “If an election were held today, which party would you vote for?”, “Do you find the government’s economic policies successful?”, and “How does your household’s economic outlook for 2025 compare to 2024?” Additionally, respondents identified the politicians they view most favorably.

- AKP: 23.8%
- CHP: 21%
- MHP: 8%
- DEM Party: 6.8%
- İYİ Party: 5.6%
- Victory Party: 3.6%
- YRP: 3%
- TİP: 1.7%

- DEVA Party: 1.4%
- Others: 2.3%
- Undecided: 20.7%
When undecided voters are distributed, the AKP leads with 30%, followed by the CHP with 27.1%, and the MHP with 10.1%. The DEM Party (8.6%) and İYİ Party (7.1%) surpass the 7% election threshold.
