President Erdoğan highlighted a new and significant opportunity for Turkey to eliminate terrorism following critical changes in the region. He stated, “The goal of the recent efforts is the disbandment of the terrorist organization.”

During the congress held at Seyrantepe Sports Hall in Diyarbakır, attended by thousands from the province and surrounding districts, a banner featuring Yahya Sinwar, a Hamas leader killed by Israel, was prominently displayed, drawing attention.
Wearing a Diyarbakırspor scarf, Erdoğan addressed his party members, focusing extensively on recent developments and emphasizing the significance of combating terrorism. He underlined that thanks to Turkey’s efforts, the PKK is no longer able to conduct operations within Turkey’s borders. He added, “Our strategy of neutralizing terrorism at its source has severely weakened the organization.”
On Developments in Syria:
Erdoğan also touched upon the political shifts in Syria, noting that the aspirations of terrorist groups have been thwarted. He declared, “No terrorist organization, regardless of its backers, has any chance against the Turkish state.”

Erdoğan explained the objectives behind the ongoing initiatives, including:
- The unconditional surrender of weapons by the terrorist organization.

In Şanlıurfa, Erdoğan reiterated his message, stating, “The era of exploiting terrorism as a tool and proxy is over.” He emphasized that those who threaten Turkey with weapons will face consequences and advocated for regional cooperation, peace, and development over conflict and instability.
