Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the head of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) while visiting Adana and Hatay, stated that the Erdoğan regime failed to fulfill its rescue and relief efforts. In a video shared on his social media account, he invites people and CHP municipalities to take up rescue and aid efforts. He assured the people in the earthquake-hit area that everyone in Türkiye is supporting them. ”We will do all we can to rebuild the cities and villages”

“Get arrested if you have to”

”Our mayors and I. We are here for this purpose. I want to address the government. This time we will not accept the bureaucratic blocking you have made during the Covid pandemic. We will be transporting aid to where it is needed as fast as possible. We do not bother with the policies of the Palace, its PR efforts, or fake news. For instance, the ministers tour together with convoys for PR. But the required measures have not been taken here for the necessary coordination. And they have not veeb able to make use of our country’s know-how and experience appropriately,” Kılıçdaroğlu says.

“I do not intend to support the efforts of those who are trying to mollify the disaster. I told our mayors, that they will do whatever they can in order to allocate resources. Are they limiting us through bureaucratic blocking? Do not listen to them. Do the people need bread and blankets? Get arrested if you have to in order to find it.” (AEK/PE)
