Description:

LNP Media Group, Inc., which publishes LNP in print and LancasterOnline for Lancaster County readers, is seeking intern candidates to work in its newsroom during the Summer of 2025. Interns are paid $15/hour and work full-time schedules for 12 weeks from May through July.

During the Summer of 2025, two successful candidates will report and write on the news and sports teams. A third intern will edit and design with the copy desk. The deadline to apply for these Summer positions is January of 2025.

To apply, you are encouraged to submit a cover letter, resume, and writing samples for consideration. You must also indicate which department’s internship you are interested in.

You will need a valid driver’s license, your own transportation, and be located in Lancaster County for reporting purposes during this internship. It is not remote. You will be offered free housing and free parking near the newsroom’s office as well.

This is a rich experience for journalists starting their careers with opportunities to chase breaking news, cover sports, write features, and hone their editing skills.

Know, too, that you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team of journalists from day one.

Have questions? Please contact our internship coordinator, Ted Sickler, Managing Editor for Staff Development and Presentation, at [email protected]. LNP Media Group, Inc., is a subsidiary of WITF, Inc.

Look for future announcements for our Fall 2025 and Winter 2025 internship programs.
