The link between agriculture and the food supply is one of America’s hottest stories. In the Pacific Northwest, it is an especially compelling topic. Capital Press is the Northwest’s leading source of information on agriculture and natural resources. We cover topics as varied as the business of agriculture, innovation through research, the demography of agriculture and the growth in farmers’ markets. Our newspaper is read in four states. Our electronic outlet has a regional and national audience. We are seeking an enterprising reporter, based in Idaho, to cover Idaho’s diverse farm, agribusiness and natural resources community. Applicants must have at least two years professional experience as a news reporter and valid drivers license. This is a 37.5-hour per week position, generally working Monday through Friday based in home office. Benefits include Paid Time Off (PTO), 401(k) retirement plan and insurances.
