Description:
The Concord Bridge, a growing non-profit hyperlocal weekly, seeks an enterprise reporter to bring our sophisticated readership the deep dives they want and deserve.
Your duties will include generating ideas for, reporting, and writing stories for print and digital on topics including redevelopment of the shuttered MCI-Concord state prison; a proposed Hanscom Airfield private jet hangar expansion; the future of the West Concord Superfund site; and law enforcement, justice, and public safety.
You’ll showcase your skill at making public records requests, analyzing the resulting documents and datasets, and explaining what you found in clear, compelling copy elevated by the right photos, graphics, and maps. We’re looking for someone who can sift through lots of information and find the story that matters to our readers.
You’ll collaborate with our municipal reporter to explain to our readers what’s going on, what it means to them, and what can be done to address problems and foster healthy debate about controversies.
This is a senior position. We strongly prefer at least five years of full-time reporting experience, including significant data-driven and investigative work.
Please send three clips, a short cover letter, salary requirements, and a resume to [email protected].
