Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service, document observations, and use computer and/or tablet tools as needed. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, and alarm calls, and requesting public services when needed.
  • Monitor access points and building activity, verify credentials when required, and help maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete timely reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to property management and Allied Universal leadership during shift briefings and/or pass downs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Be comfortable working a primarily driving post, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
