Position description
For our client, we are seeking a International Strategy & Policy Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Track and analyze international space legislation and assess impacts on operations
- Develop a horizon-scanning function for policy trends and regulatory risks
- Collaborate with Business Development and Sales to pursue international growth
- Act as a strategic resource for navigating foreign government relationships
- Create clear strategic messaging for internal and external communications
- Translate complicated policy developments into actionable guidance
- Support operations integration of the company Suisse and other European entities
- Align European office activities with broader international strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in international strategy and policy
- Bachelor’s degree in legal or public policy
- MPA/MPP or JD preferred
- 5+ years in international policy, government relations, or aerospace/technology policy
- Experience with European regulatory environments
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous situations
