Position description

The Department of Criminology and Political Science at Texas A&M University-San Antonio is seeking to hire a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in its Political Science program. Applicants must have at least one year of university teaching experience and the ability to teach courses in person. Appointment will begin in Fall 2025. Continuation depends on course availability. 
 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Master’s degree or higher in Political Science or related field from an accredited university.
  • At least one (1) year of university teaching experience.

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Doctoral degree in Political Science or related field from an accredited university.
  • At least three (3) years of university teaching experience.
  • Record of teaching excellence.
