Position description

Rivier University is hiring part-time Political Science – Adjunct Faculty on a semester-to-semester basis. Reporting to the Dean of Arts & Sciences, the Political Science instructor is responsible for teaching day sections of International Relations, US Federal, State and Local Government, Women and Politics and Public Policy on our Nashua, New Hampshire campus.

Duties and Responsibilities

      • Candidate must possess a keen interest and enthusiasm for engaging, teaching, and mentoring students at the undergraduate level.
      • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both in the department and throughout the University community.

Qualifications

      • Master’s degree in Political Science or related field.
      • Academic teaching experience preferred.
      • Demonstrated ability in and commitment to teaching excellence in the social sciences, and
      • Desire to mentor undergraduate students in their course work and career goals.
