The Idaho Mountain Express, the state’s largest non-daily newspaper, is seeking a general assignment news reporter who wants to specialize in arts and events coverage. This is a great community-journalism job in the beautiful resort community of Sun Valley, Idaho, one of the most beautiful places in the nation. Must be a hard worker who can establish good relationships within small communities and an excellent writer who can hit the ground running. Published twice weekly, the Express—recognized repeatedly by the National Newspaper Association as one of the best non-dailies in the country—has a strong tradition of providing award-winning news and arts coverage. The successful candidate must have a college degree in journalism or a related field, preferably with experience in arts and events reporting.
