- Increase community engagement and lead management for the Where Nola Eats Facebook group, which has more than 100,000 members.
- Shoot, produce and edit vertical video related to food and dining, entertainment and life in New Orleans.
- Use data analytics to drive content strategy and lead discussions on new opportunities for audience-driven storytelling.
- Identify stories with viral, statewide interest, written in a way that’s easy to consume for digital audiences.
- Collaborate with our marketing and advertising teams on food-focused events with reporters Ian McNulty and Chelsea Shannon.
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in a newsroom or online publication working with food & dining content, newsletter strategy and/or video production. Experience in events management is not required but preferred. The candidate should also be knowledgeable in using Google Trends, digital analytics tools, SEO strategies and social media platforms.
