JOB DUTIES:

• Performs maintenance of different types of cabling equipment and infrastructure.

• Installs more advanced or new technologies based on the needs of the customer/client.

• Research, evaulate, and develop solutions to problems.

• Tests equipment and systems to evaluate whether they meet compliance standards.

• Report findings and provide solutions for any issues that may halt progression.

• Conducts thorough follow-up assessments and checkups of equipment and make recommendations where applicable.

• Provides training on product features and specifications.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

• Required Technical Skills: Cable Installation, Cable Maintenance, IT Systems and Infrastructure, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications

• Security Clearance Level: DOE Q or TS

• Required Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, and Teamwork.

• Location: Albuquerque, NM (Hyrbid)

The likely salary range for this position is $78,605 – $106,349. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
