The Enterprise Commercial & ISD Business Manager is a high impact, active team member of our Leadership team, orchestrating and guiding the execution of our end to end business priorities for the organizations.
As a Business Manager, you will play a critical role in aligning and executing the strategic planning processes alongside the leadership tem, ensuring that all plans are in harmony with the business objectives and adapted to the unique demands of the organization. You will ensure internal continuation of business operations during all times, including periods of change or special circumstances, and work closely with Microsoft teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive execution plans.
Accountabilities:

Strategic execution, planning + change management: Key contributor and influencer of the business strategy through account planning, regional reviews, monthly & quarterly executive reviews, and other initiatives. Ensure planning, landing and reviews of business prioritized commitments are accomplished.

Executive office and business management: Lead cross-functional and strategic projects to support the EC GM and ISD Leader to drive measurable results that deliver business impact for the broad organization. Support strategic planning process, rhythm of business, coordinate executive partner meeting briefs, action items, and other executive office functions.

Business Operations Excellence & Compliance: Trusted change advisor and a thought leader around topics such as compliance, readiness, training, organizational policy education, and operating with a high bar of quality around streamlined end-end processes.

Financial Management: Coordinate team activities for fiscal planning processes for revenue & OPEX, in partnership with finance and in alignment with EC & ISD Leaders’ guidance. Ensure leader accountability for revenue and operational expenditure forecast accuracy.

You will partner with the leadership team to develop and execute planning processes and develop and execute the rhythm of business (ROB), managing team participation for key business events, next fiscal year planning, running business reviews, and other strategic business planning activities. Reviews adherence to privacy and compliance.

You will oversee the creation and implementation of execution plans. Ensures alignment for strategy initiatives across functions for their area of ownership. Identifies best practices for strategy execution, leverages information, advocating for business cases.

You will help drive accountability for the team and organization in executing core business activities. Uses understanding of priorities based on scorecards and communicates in a simple way. Aligns priorities with key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics. Creates clarity in ambiguous situations to facilitate and drive prioritization and decision making for leaders across the organization. May use qualitative data for tracking performance.

You will use your understanding of the organization’s strategy and deliverables for the upcoming year(s) to design budgets. Uses short and/or long-term forecasting plans built in collaboration with the leadership team. Contributes to identification of actions that can course-correct and drive performance improvement.

You will leverage knowledge of the leader’s goals and approach to ensure team activities are aligned with the leader’s objectives. Supports the leader in communicating key goals, priorities, and definitions. Maximizes a culture to support and represent the leader and team. Informs tactical and strategic business decisions for the leader. Supports the landing of organizational changes.

You will monitor team health and support the leader in responding to team culture issues, as well as promoting culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion [D&I], hiring, onboarding).

You will engage in well-defined projects/programs, including work on strategic efforts that require hands-on experience which may be across multiple disciplines.

Deliver financial accountabilities to the company (Revenue, Growth, Business Performance Metrics, ISD Sold margin); Monthly revenue and OpEx forecast accuracy.

Business Plans and Partner Account Plans completed ahead of each fiscal half

Ensure always on pipeline – pipeline revenue health, reliability and accuracy for current plus future quarters YoY Business Simplification – ROB, partner facing time, standardized reports usageYoY and relevant improvements

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
