Credit & Collection Specialist

Position type: Full Time, Contract

Duration: 11 months Contract to possible hire

Location: Orlando, FL,32822

As a Credit & Collection Specialist you will:

• Responsible for timely collections of all account receivable balances, credit management (including but not limiting to maintaining credit management tools, customer credit limit, etc.), supporting bad debt calculation/analysis, preparing periodic account aging/AR Tracking and Payment Details report.
• Responsible for collection of customer accounts, from both internal and external customers.
• Ensure timely collection of all accounts receivable balances as well as defining the methods of collection by the development of collection processes and procedures
• Utilize software to aid in the collection process
• Identifying credit and collection issues that need to be addressed.
• Communicating such finding with AR Accounting.
• Following up the above collection issues.
• Sending missing invoices to customers

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with 3-5 years of relevant accounting/finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience with collections, collection tools, invoicing, account reconciliation
• Financial Systems (i.e., SAP) experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) including Microsoft Excel

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $27.00 to $.29.00/per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
