Key competences and experience

MEDEF is looking for a EU Senior Manager to reinforce the Brussels office.

The responsibilities of the selected candidate will include among others:

  • Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments within the EU institutions and, when relevant, in cooperation with the headquarters
  • Preparation of- and reporting on- internal and external meetings
  • Developing of advocacy material, including visuals, internal briefing documents and position papers
  • Helping to promote the positions towards the European Institutions
  • Contributing to the organisation of conferences and workshops
  • Contributing to the weekly internal newsletter and other communication material.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field (European law/Politics, Political science, etc.)
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in EU affairs
  • Full professional proficiency in French and English with excellent writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • A flexible and proactive attitude to work combined with an autonomous working style
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and keep to tight deadlines
  • Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A service-minded approach
  • Recognized commitment to ethics and transparency
