Key competences and experience
MEDEF is looking for a EU Senior Manager to reinforce the Brussels office.
The responsibilities of the selected candidate will include among others:
- Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments within the EU institutions and, when relevant, in cooperation with the headquarters
- Preparation of- and reporting on- internal and external meetings
- Developing of advocacy material, including visuals, internal briefing documents and position papers
- Helping to promote the positions towards the European Institutions
- Contributing to the organisation of conferences and workshops
- Contributing to the weekly internal newsletter and other communication material.
Qualifications
- University degree in a relevant field (European law/Politics, Political science, etc.)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in EU affairs
- Full professional proficiency in French and English with excellent writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude to work combined with an autonomous working style
- Ability to thrive under pressure and keep to tight deadlines
- Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A service-minded approach
- Recognized commitment to ethics and transparency
