The Georgia Trust for Local News is seeking a dynamic Executive Director / Publisher to lead one of the most ambitious local-news transformation efforts in the country.
The Georgia Trust operates a growing portfolio of community newsrooms across central Georgia, serving towns and cities where strong local journalism is essential to civic life. This role is about building a sustainable business that enables that mission to thrive.
What this role does:

Own top-line revenue growth and expense management

Deliver financial stability through disciplined budgeting and forecasting

Lead advertising, consumer revenue, events, and new product development

Modernize operations using data, technology, and clear performance goals

Serve as the public face of the Georgia Trust with advertisers, funders, and community leaders

Partner closely with the National Trust for Local News and a local board
