Position description

The Fox International Fellowship program at Yale invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position for the academic year 2026-2027.The Program invites applications from across the social sciences and humanities with a focus on transnationalism, international relations, and global affairs.

The Postdoctoral Associate will mentor Fox International Fellows at Yale, teach a weekly seminar for the Program, advise prospective applicants, serve on the Selection Committee, help the Fox Academic Director with designing and implementing the academic trainings for the fellows, as well as pursue their own research. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to be in residence during the appointment and take an active role in the activities of the Program. The Postdoctoral Associate will spend fifty percent of his or her time working with the Program and the other fifty percent pursuing their own research.

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience and complies with the Yale Office of Postdoctoral Affairscompensation policyand includes abenefits package.

Qualifications

Candidates must have completed their Ph.D. by the time of the appointment. The appointment start date is August 1, 2026.
