Description:

Senior Writer or Journalist / Strategic Content creator – High-Level Energy/Tech Industry Workshop at Princeton University this Wednesday, 17 June  plus additional remote writing opportunity

We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded writer to support a high-level, invitation-only workshop hosted with leading academic and industry partners.

This is a rare opportunity to be in the room with senior leaders from global companies, academia and advisory firms as they workshop emerging challenges and solutions in the critical, fast-growing data center sector.

The role

  • Attend a full-day, in-person workshop this Wednesday
  • Act as our eyes and ears: capture detailed notes, key insights and standout ideas
  • Distill discussions into clear, structured summaries
  • Help shape compelling story angles and thought leadership themes
  • Potential to develop these into publishable articles, opinion pieces and broader content (with possible collaboration with senior stakeholders from major companies)

What we’re looking for

  • Exceptional note-taking and synthesis skills (you can turn complex conversations into sharp, usable insight)
  • Strong writing ability, clear, concise, and commercially relevant
  • Confidence operating in a senior, fast-paced environment
  • Interest in infrastructure, technology, sustainability or major industry transitions is a plus

Why this is interesting

  • Access to a closed-door discussion with influential participants
  • Opportunity to help shape the narrative coming out of the workshop
  • Potential for your work to be published across multiple platforms and pitched to media
  • Scope for follow-on work (articles, interviews, ongoing thought leadership)

This will involve full-day attendance at the workshop (10.30am to 5pm this Wednesday) plus follow-up deliverables, with optional continuation into longer-form writing. Aside from the workshop the rest of the work will be remote.
