We are looking for an individual with general management, client and markets relationship experience to lead and grow on Large Risk, Natural Resources and Global Services and Solution broking team in WTW Turkey. This position is a managerial and client facing role utilizing professional and leadership skills in Commercial Property, Casualty, Construction and other insurances to maintain and enhance a large and complex client relationship while also ensuring client retention and growth.
The Role

Set the vision, strategy and plans for the practice in the region

Design and deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end client service proposition
-
Set individual targets for the team and support them in achieving those targets
-
Identify, develop, and coach key talent
-
Oversee client relationship management and client retention
-
Accountable for achieving client service revenue budgets, including retention and new business targets
-
Responsible for providing new business support and cross-selling opportunities
-
Maintain an active sales funnel
-
Develop and grow local and international market relationships
-
Coordinate and align colleagues to drive the Facultative Pipeline

Supervise claims.
The Requirements
-
University degree, preferably in Engineering, Management, Economics, or Political Science, from a reputable institution
-
Minimum 15-20 years’ experience in insurance and reinsurance broking, with a focus on placement and/or sales for Large Risk and Energy insurance
-
At least 10 years of team management/leadership experience

Expertise in designing and placing large, complex Property (re)insurance programs
-
Thorough technical knowledge of Complex P&C, Construction and other placements
-
Industry Expertise in Power, Energy, Construction, Metals, Mining and/or Complex Industrial risks

Proven ability to drive business growth and meet strict deadlines
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
-
Strong relationships with (re)insurers and clients
-
Product development and project management capabilities
-
Ability to engage at C-Suite level
-
Strong sales skills including presentation and negotiation skills
-
A strategic team player and thrive working under pressure.
