Position description

Under the supervision of the Global Protection and Security (GP&S) Associate Director for Intelligence, you will help lead efforts to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks that could impact Accenture. This will include gathering intelligence from various sources, drafting analytic assessments, and engaging regularly with stakeholders and security leadership. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and researching threats from a diverse array of sources.
  • Authoring analytic assessments on issues ranging from tactical threats to strategic geopolitical issues that demonstrate strong intelligence tradecraft.
  • Engaging in thought leadership through professional organizations/associations and benchmarking.
  • Ensure team members develop their analytical tradecraft and area knowledge through appropriate training and conferences.
  • In that role, the selected individual will prepare threat assessments covering travel, locations (countries/cities/buildings), and events, tailored intelligence products, daily incident assessments, threat forecasts, and social media summaries. 
  • Prepare and present analytic trends and developments in written and verbal form for senior audiences.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, regularly engaging with security stakeholders and others including human resources, legal, marketing and communications, and relevant market units.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Work outside of regular business hours and on weekends will be occasionally required for breaking events.
  • Role is part of a global team this has required meetings that occur during business hours in the Eastern Time Zone

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the government or private sector
  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in international relations, security, or related field.
  • Experience identifying global trends and drafting strategic intelligence products.
  • Knowledge and understanding of analysis on international security issues.
  • Experience working on a global team and with global stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to process complex information.
  • Experience presenting information to senior executive audiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Formal training in intelligence analysis tradecraft.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership in professional setting.
  • Proficiency in open-source intelligence platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Office 365).

 

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
