Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot & Maintain Equipment: Diagnose, dismantle, and repair a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ensure all repairs are completed in a timely and safe manner.
- Preventative Maintenance & PM Compliance: Complete daily preventative maintenance tasks, inspections, and work orders on extrusion equipment, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and related systems.
- Collaborate & Organize: Work closely with contractors, engineers, and operations teams to install new equipment, maintain safety compliance, and keep maintenance tools and spare parts properly stored and organized.
Key Requirements:
- Industrial Maintenance Experience: Hands-on knowledge in gearboxes, motors, welding (stick/TIG), pipefitting, and lubrication systems; previous work in an aluminum extrusion or heavy manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Physical Capability & Safety Compliance: Must be able to lift 75+ lbs, push/pull heavy loads, tolerate extreme temperatures, heights over 40 feet, loud noise (120 dB), and work in confined spaces while adhering to OSHA safety and PPE standards.
- Availability & Flexibility: Willing to work long shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed; strong commitment to being visible, dependable, and responsive on the plant floor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
