University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site at San Diego, CA, for the Political Science program.

Required Education and Experience:

  • A Masters degree in Political Science or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning

  • Professional experience in Political Science, Application of Political Theory, American government, international relations, or related field

  • Prior teaching experience required; Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.

  • This position is specifically to teach in San Diego, CA.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Professional experience in homeland security, counterterrorism, and related topics preferred.

  • Professional experience in domestic governmental operations, administrative policy, and related topics preferred.
