Position description

Search offers paid internships (based in Bishkek) to support its program activities in Kyrgyzstan. The duration of the internship is 3 months. Intern will assist Search for Common Ground (Search) Kyrgyzstan team with implementing project activities. S/he will provide assistance in organizing meetings (national and regional), workshops across Kyrgyzstan, developing communication materials, and creating content for social media (Instagram, Facebook). The intern reports to the Communications Assistant and works in close collaboration with Thematic Leads.

Responsibilities

      • Assist in developing ideas and creating content of different formats (posts, videos, graphics) for all social media
      • Provide logistical support in organizing conferences, workshops, training, and other project events;
      • Assist with travel arrangements, hotel reservations, and travel authorizations in compliance with organizational financial and operational guidelines;
      • Provide written translation and consecutive interpretation between English, Russian and Kyrgyz

Competency Behavior Indicators (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

      • Has knowledge of SMM and graphic editors for photos, video, and infographics processing. Awareness of popular social networking trends and principles of social Internet platforms;
      • Experience in creating visual and video content, ability to work in front of the camera;
      • Сreativity, good communication, and writing skills;
      • Advanced English, Kyrgyz, and Russian language skills;
      • Experience with international NGOs is an asset

Type and Nature of Contacts

        • This position is offered under a Part-Time Temporary Employment Contract for the duration of the internship period.

Working Conditions and Physical Requiremen

      • The intern is expected to work 20 hours per week.
      • The position allows flexibility to work either remotely or on-site at the office, depending on availability and organizational needs.
