ICRC - International Committee of the Red Cross

Reports to (role)

Publications Manager

What we do

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. We take action in response to emergencies and, at the same time, promote respect for international humanitarian law. We are an independent and neutral organization, and our mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. We work closely with the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and with their International Federation in order to ensure a concerted, rational and rapid humanitarian response to the needs of the victims of armed conflict or any other situation of internal violence. We direct and coordinate the international activities conducted in these situations.

The associate will work with the Publications team to support the coordination of HQ and field productions. This includes contributing to the planning and supervision of budgets and policies, reinforcing production capacities in the field, and generating professional, innovative, and efficient communication tools and workflow at the HQ and regional levels.

Our ideal candidate is creative and motivated to strengthen their skills and experience in producing communication strategies and tools and managing and administrating HQ and field production activities (budgeting, planning and producing publications and PDFs) in an international and multicultural humanitarian organization.

  • Archive all final design files and share these with RCCs and delegations upon request.
  • Provide support with any other tasks required.
