Responsibilities

The SAP Intelligence Support Coordinator will coordinate SAP (Special Access Program) intelligence support with key stakeholders, including US Indopacific Command (INDOPACOM), the Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, and the Defense Intelligence Agency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in coordinating SAP or SAP-like activities, with a deep understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) coordination and strategic planning, particularly with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Joint Staff.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Coordinate SAP intelligence support with INDOPACOM and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including INDOPACOM, CIA, NSA, and DIA, to facilitate SAP intelligence support and coordination.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on SAP coordination and strategic planning, leveraging knowledge of DoD, OSD, and Joint Staff processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with technical operations and development teams to ensure SAP intelligence support aligns with technical capabilities and requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance SAP intelligence support, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimizing resources.
• Travel to the NCR on a quarterly basis to engage with stakeholders, attend meetings, and participate in planning sessions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience coordinating SAP or SAP-like activities (e.g., SOF, Cyber, Space, and/or intelligence operations) with INDOPACOM and the IC.
• Demonstrated understanding of DoD, OSD, and Joint Staff coordination and strategic planning processes.
• Experience working with DoD SAPs on a routine basis over several years, with a deep understanding of SAP policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Background in interacting with technical operations and/or technical development activities, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to the NCR on a quarterly basis, with potential for additional travel as required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in Hawaii or with INDOPACOM, with knowledge of the region’s unique challenges and opportunities.
• Familiarity with IC agencies, including CIA, NSA, and DIA, with established relationships and a deep understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, national security, or a related discipline.

Minimum Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Master’s degree in a relevant field – Desired

Clearance Requirements:

• Candidate will need to have a US TS SCI security clearance with SAP eligibility
