Overview:

A dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with strong analytical and strategical skills to drive marketing priorities and sales growth in key accounts within Surgery portfolio. This role will involve leading key accounts sales and marketing team while developing, executing and refining strategies to enhance our market share and achieve sales targets with a special focus on NPI penetration, surgical society and KOL management with a direct reporting line to Business Unit Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth:

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for key accounts.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within key accounts to drive NPI penetration, revenue growth with optimized budget spending per business priorities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including KOL’s, hospital administrators, surgeons, and procurement managers. Based on that, this role requires business travels across country.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the key accounts.

  • Set and monitor sales targets on revenue and NPI penetration KPIs, leading and lagging indicator metrics for the sales team.

Marketing Management:

  • Lead and coach the product management team to develop and execute targeted product strategies to support sales initiatives.

  • Involve managing the key accounts sales team and marketing team while developing, executing, and refining strategies to enhance our market share and achieve sales targets with a special focus on NPI penetration, surgical society and KOL management.

  • Oversee the development of marketing materials, presentations, and product information tailored to the KOL surgeons.

  • Lead strategic product initiatives and budget management.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including professional education, pricing, regulatory affairs, and customer services, to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.

  • Facilitate training sessions for the sales team on product knowledge and value-based selling techniques.

Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback for senior management.

  • Analyze sales data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing. Medical devices or Healthcare industry experience is preferable. Product management experience is required.

  • 2+ years of experience in people management.

  • Prove and inspire the behaviors that reinforce Our Credo.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in the medical sector.

  • Strong understanding of the health care market, hospital procurement processes, and healthcare regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Fluency in Written and Spoken English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
