Description of the Assignment:

The objective of the assignment is to develop and implement a gender responsive Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for the UNDP project “Viet Nam Climate-Smart Coastal Communities (VNCSCC) based on project documents (logic model, theory of change, its intended outcomes, outputs, and activities, gender equality and women empowerment strategy and action plan, and other relevant documents). This ESMP will be an appropriate tool in demonstrating the effectiveness and impacts of the project and actively manage social and environment risks that may arise as it is in line with Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), Social and Environmental Screening Procedures (SESP), Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Strategy and Action Plan (GEWE), Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM), and Risk Register of the project, in accordance with UNDP and Global Affairs Canada requirements.

Period of assignment/services: 61 working days from 15 December 2024 – 31 December 2025.

 

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
