Join Guthrie’s Walk-in Care team to provide high-quality patient care to people living in Vestal, the city of Binghamton and surrounding suburban communities.

Guthrie Lourdes seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to practice in our walk-in clinics and work alongside a supportive team of providers and staff.

Highlights of the Opportunity

  • See acute care patients within the Walk-In Clinic scope of practice.
  • Provide rotational coverage for Guthrie Now virtual visits.
  • Practice within a team setting with supportive Advanced Practice Providers and nursing staff.
  • Enjoy extended shifts, rotating weekends, and days off during the week.
  • J1 & H1B visa eligible.

Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range of $275,000-$300,000 annually
  • Starting Bonus available
  • Medical school loan repayment – up to $150,000
  • Full benefits including medical, dental and disability insurance.
  • Guthrie Retirement Savings Plan (403B) with employer match and age-based contributions.
  • Allowance for licensure fees, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and renewals.
  • A $10,000 referral bonus will be paid if a physician is referred for employment and hired full-time.

Work Life Balance

  • Full-Time equals 7 shifts biweekly.
  • Generous Paid Time Off of 35 days annually.
  • CME-$3,500 for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.

Guthrie Lourdes Hospital has served the city of Binghamton and surrounding communities with compassionate patient care for the last 99 years. Acquired by Guthrie, a not-for-profit, integrated health care system, in early 2024, Guthrie Lourdes joins Guthrie in serving Northeast Pennsylvania and the Southern Tier region of New York with six hospitals and 76 regional offices in a 13-county catchment area. Our team of nearly 1,000 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners provide access and care to more than 2 million patients annually.
