Salary
£37467 to £50296 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor (Teaching and Curriculum Leadership) within the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. This is an exciting role for a candidate with a career commitment to education and student experience who wants to develop into an educational leader.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop high quality modules for undergraduates and postgraduates; conduct assessments of student work at all levels; seek grant income for education and student experience activities; and take a leadership role relating to education and student experience in the School.

Evidence of a proven track-record of high-quality teaching or curriculum leadership is essential. You must also demonstrate your commitment to pedagogy and professional development as a teacher commensurate with your career stage and experience.

This full-time (36.25 hours per week) post is available from 1 September 2022 and will be offered on a permanent contract.

The successful candidate must have a PhD in Politics/International Relations or related subject (candidates nearing completion may be considered).
