The first nine cases of the Eris variant of coronavirus have been detected in Turkey, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Sept. 15.
In a statement on Twitter, Koca announced the development by saying “It shouldn’t be considered as a subject to concern.”
“The Eris variant, which we know has low virulence, was seen in nine people (in Turkey). They have international contacts and are in the same province,” Koca said.
“We will continue with the current measures and our daily lives. The situation is common in other countries, and it was likely to occur in us as well. We will protect our elders and chronic patients,” he added.
ENDİŞE KONUSU SAYILMAYACAK BİR GELİŞME. Hasta etme gücünün (virülansının) düşüklüğünü bildiğimiz Eris varyantı Referans Laboratuvarımızda yapılan incelemede 9 kişide görüldü. Yurtdışı temaslı ve aynı ildeler. Mevcut tedbirlere ve gündelik hayatımıza devam edeceğiz.
Durum başka…
