Description:

Zeke Faux, author of NUMBER GO UP, is looking for a research assistant to help with a new book. The researcher would help find interview subjects for certain topics, looking both on social media and in published accounts, and they’d contact the potential subjects and conduct pre-interviews. I’m looking for someone with the skills to track down someone unusual via Discord, Instagram DMs, or cold phone calls and talk them into an interview, and with the sense of humor to figure out, say, which influencer might be too cringey and who would be just right. Looking for someone who can work about 20 hours a week, at least through the summer, and potentially through the rest of the year. Pay is $30 an hour (or higher for someone with lots of experience). Flexible on location — if based in New York could co-work some days in Brooklyn. Please send a resume and a couple paragraphs explaining why you’re interested. Email: [email protected]
