Nacho Sanchez Amor, MEP and European Parliament Standing Rapporteur on Turkey, met in Brussels on Tuesday with representitives of opposition parties in Turkey.
The meeting was organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Turkey in the context of an event on “The Future of the Turkish Foreign Policy and the Perspectives of Opposition Parties Following the Elections.”
The meeting was attended by Selin Sayek Boke, the General Secretary of main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), Hisyar Ozsoy, deputy for the pro-Kurdish opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Ahmet Erozan, the Deputy Chair of the Good Party, Abdurrahman Bilgic, the foreign policy coordinator of the DEVA Party, and Umit Yardim, the Deputy Chair of the Future Party.

“Great pleasure to host at the European Parliament a delegation of opposition parties and academics from Turkey organized by FES Turkey. We had a frank exchange on EU-Turkey relations. Their presence in Brussels contributes to a better understanding of the diverse, complex reality of the country.”
